World Cup, now European Cup

FIFA World Cup has turned more into FIFA European Cup or something like that now when there are only European nations in the semi finals :D (Germany vs Italy and Portugal vs France). Lets just hope that the “hooligan experts” CrimGirl wrote about have all returned home to England so that they don’t ruin the finals…..

If you’re like me and simply can miss any episodes of CSI and Navy SCI, then you will love CrimGirl.com. It’s a crime blog written by a really cool girl called Courtney. She got degrees in both criminology and psychology, and a private investigator’s license… and she’s cute too :D . I can recommend Top 10 lessons from CSI, but I think you will be able to find a lot of other interesting stuff too.

Thank God for wire-less Internet

I have just installed wire-less Internet at home and I have to say that it’s amazing. I’m outside in the fantastic swedish summer sun writing this :D I can’t imagine how I could survive without this before…. :D

The game between Germany and Sweden today (in a little bit more then an hour) is going to be really interesting. I really hope Sweden will beat Germany, but the odds for that are against Sweden :(

Argentina vs Mexico later today will be rally interesting. Mostly because I have bet some money on Argentina :D I usually don’t bet, but I like the odds for this game (Argentina 1.40 — Mexico 7.00 at Ladbrokes).

If you live in Sweden you can get 500 swedish crowns to bet for at Unibet. Read more about that here.

Sweden Rules!

I heard someone say that Sweden hasn’t lost in football against England for 38 years(!!) and yesterday wasn’t any different :-) . The game yesterday ended in 2-2, which is enough for Sweden to still be in World-Cup!!! Fantastic job boys!

Odds

On Tuesday it’s going to be really exiting…. Sweden will play against England and Trinidad & Tobago against Paraguay. I had a quick look at Ladbrokes web site to check the odds for both games.

Match Win Draw Win
England vs Sweden 2.10 2.80 3.50
Paraguay vs Trinidad 1.72 3.50 3.75

According to the odds it looks like Paraguay and England will be the winners on Tuesday :( . Sweden need at least Draw to still be in the game, but the odds for that is 2.8!

I think a will bet on Paraguay :?

Visitors from Trinidad and Tobago

I noticed in the server logs that I have had visitors from Trinidad and Tobago since my post yesterday about World Cup :D Therefore I have desided to write some more about FIFA World Cup 2006 and also about Sweden vs Trinidad and Tobago.

Why is Trinidad and Tobago so fascinating to you when you’re from Sweden? Well, simply because I like the Carribean and also because at work I have had contact with an interesting woman from Trinidad.

On the 15th you should miss the game between T&T and England and on the 20th T&T will fight Paraguay. Later this week Sweden will meet Paraguay (on the 15th) and on the 20th it’s going to be Sweden vs England. I will of course write some more about this on the 15th….

If you compare Sweden and T&T you will see that Sweden got about 3 goals per game on average while T&T only got about 1.5 goals per game. However, prevoius achivements are not a guarantee for success. So if you also take into consideration the 0-0 game between Sweden and T&T, I would say that T&T still got a chance, or am I completely wrong?

Sweden vs. Trinidad & Tobago

Swedens first game in World Cup didn’t go as planned for Sweden and Trinidad & Tobago really showed the world how much they want to win World Cup. Anyway the game ended 0-0 and my congratulations to Trinidad & Tobago for a fantastic game yesterday :D .
